If you will present with the AV system, you may wish to obtain a guest account instead of using your LLCC account.
2. Set up a Teams Meeting
If your presentation will connect with others outside of the presentation hall, then you will need to setup a teams meeting. Make sure to share the link of your Teams meeting with those who will join remotely.
3. Sign into the Master Control
Wake up the main console by tapping on it. Enter the passcode 5250.
4. Turn on the keyboard, mouse, and clicker
The main projectors, may not have a proper signal from the PC if the keyboard and mouse are not turned on. The clicker is useful for PowerPoint presentations.
5. The microphones each have their own on/off switch
The microphones become live when the passcode has been successfully entered at the master console. In general you do not need to adjust volume on a microphone basis. If you use a microphone, you will need to turn it on at the microphone.
6. If necessary, each microphone volume can be adjusted
The microphones and video can be muted if the discussion needs to be limited to only those in the presentation hall. Also, the overall volume of the speakers can be reduced from the PC, but the volume cannot be raised above the volume set at the master control.
7. To turn on the projectors, tap on Local PC
The projectors will turn on when the "Local PC" button is pressed. If the windows log in screen does not show, then the PC is either asleep, or off. Make sure the keyboard/mouse are on, as shown in step 4.
8. Test the sound and video of your Teams conference
Use the test suite in Teams to confirm sound and video are correctly in sync with the audio visual system. With the mastercontrol you can set which camera will operate. These cameras can be panned to include the individual interests of your presentation.
9. Mute notifications so your presentation isn't interupted with calls or chat messages.
Team Notifications can be muted for meetings and calls. Under Notifcations in Teams settings you will find these settings can be edited.
10. Return the PC desktop and AV system to how they were before the presentation
Make sure to remove any files you copied to the desktop as part of the presentation. Log out of your session. Do not shutdown the PC. Turn off the keyboard, mouse and clicker. Then at the master control tap on the power button in the lower left of the panel and confirm you wish to shutdown the AV system.
