Repeating a Course

A student who is otherwise eligible for financial aid may receive aid for the repeat of a course in which the original grade(s) was an AU, F, SP, W, WP or WF. Financial aid will not pay for repeating a course in which the original grade was a D or better (C or better for developmental courses), with the exception of those courses, such as PHE and MUS courses, that can be repeated for additional credit towards graduation. In such cases, Financial Aid will pay for the course repeat up to the maximum amount of hours listed in the LLCC Catalog course description. For example, PHE 112 can be repeated three times.

Grades of RP (Repeat) are counted as attempted hours in determining compliance with the Cumulative Completion standard, but not included in the GPA and therefore not counted toward the Cumulative GPA standard. Grades of RP are also counted toward the 150% limit.
