Tech Prep Articulation Agreements
Lincoln Land Community College has entered into inter-district Tech Prep articulation agreements with 38 high schools, CACC, I.S.V.I. and I.S.D.
Tech Prep is a program which provides career pathways to high school students. The pathways provide both academic and technical preparation related to today's work force, and guide students through their high school curriculum through an associate in applied science degree (four-year options are also available). The curriculum pathways also include work-based learning experiences in specific career fields through coordination of area businesses and educators.
Tech Prep offers:
- A way to earn proficiency college credits while in high school if learning outcomes are achieved
- A solid foundation of rigorous academic and technical courses
- A clear pathway to follow with your individual career plans
- More efficient use of students' time
- An introduction to the workplace
- Flexibility to explore various options for careers
