The math courses may be taken in any sequence and should be selected according to the requirements of the senior institution to which you intend to transfer. Also, students who need to start with MAT 096 will be taking MAT 242 in the fourth semester. These students take MAT 096 the first semester, MAT 140 and MAT 130 the second and third semesters and MAT 242 the fourth semester (NOTE- this means these students will be taking 18-19 hours one semester).
