AUB 101 Basic Auto Body Repair 5 credits

This course covers the basic principles of automobile construction, manufacturing and design including the angle, crown and forming steel into the contour of modern vehicles. Also included is the usage of various types of body hand tools, power tools and equipment. The application of hammer and dolly techniques, shrinking and fitting techniques are covered. Practical application involves students' working on vehicles with minor fender and panel damage. (2 lecture hours and 6 laboratory hours)
