BIO 230 Field Biology 2 credits

This course is an introductory course covering principles and investigational techniques of ecology with emphasis upon the interactions of plants and animals in both aquatic and terrestrial habitats through field trips that permit first-hand observation. R (1 lecture hour and 2 laboratory hours) A two-day field trip to southern Illinois is part of this course.

Prerequisite: BIO 111 and BIO 112 or permission of instructor
