CPC 260 Programming Internship 0.5-3 credits

This is a supervised work experience coordinated with a computer information systems related employer. A minimum of 225 hours of internship time is required for three credit hours. Three credit hours of internship experience is required for completions of any of the Computer Information Systems' A.A.S. degrees. This course may be repeated three times. R (15 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: Successful completion of a minimum of thirty (30) credit hours in the appropriate Computer Information Systems program, 20 credit hours of which must be courses with the following prefixes: CAS/CTC/CDD/CPC/CNC.

Note: Students with 2,000 hours of relevant work experience may substitute a course from the electives associated with the Associate in Applied Science paradigm in place of this requirement. The courses must have a prefix of CAS/CTC/CDD/CPC/CNC. Directed study will be utilized for those students unable to complete this requirement.
