EDU 230 Introduction to Foundations of Reading 3 credits
This course provides an introduction to theory and practice in teaching reading and related language arts areas. It includes information on basic components of reading instruction and language arts instruction, the importance of literacy learning and introduces the Illinois Learning Standards in ease of reading and language arts. R, W1 (3 lecture hours and 1 laboratory hour)
