ELT 206 Advanced Communications and Electronic Instrumentation 4 credits

This semester course consists of two parts. Part 1 covers the fundamentals and application of electronic test equipment. Devices such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, digital instruments, signal analyzers and electronic voltmeters are covered. The second part consists of the study of RF signal propagation, antennas, transmission lines and microwave systems. The lab provides experiences in the use of electronic test equipment and microwave components/systems. (3 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)
