ELT 222 Microcomputer Applications 4 credits

This course is a continuation in the study of microcomputers with heavy emphasis on applications in the real world. Topics include high-level languages, voice synthesis, voice digitizing, video digitizing and robotics. The laboratory includes troubleshooting and programming of a robot, prototyping of interfacing circuitry and study of voice recognition. (3 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: ELT 220 or equivalent
