EMS 202 EMT Paramedic-Trauma 14 credits
This course is one of three required to complete the EMT-Paramedic certificate. Students develop proficiency in the roles, responsibilities and skill level required by state and national standards for licensing as an EMT-Paramedic. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment, airway management and the treatment of trauma emergencies. Students are in a fieldwork internship for a total of 225 clinical hours. R (9 lecture hours and 10 laboratory hours)
