FST 103 Fire Prevention Principles 4 credits
This course is a study of current building codes, fire protection codes and standards and how they are applied. Emphasis is placed on local building codes, fire prevention code and the life safety code. Students perform manipulative labs on code application. Students complete the course both online and occasional classroom meetings throughout the semester. (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
