MAT 094 Developmental Intermediate Algebra I 2 credits
This course in intermediate algebra of the real number system is designed for students who have some background in algebra, either high school algebra or MAT 092, but who still lack the preparation needed to study math courses beyond MAT 096. Topics covered include the algebra of rational expressions, radicals and rational exponents, and the complex number system. This course is not designed for transfer credit, nor will credit be given toward an associate degree. (2 lecture hours)
Prerequisite: MAT 092 with a grade of C or better or appropriate placement score
