OTA 205 Occupational Therapy Assistant Fieldwork III/Practicum III 6 credits

This course provides supervised clinical experience in an occupational therapy setting. It allows occupational therapy students to apply concepts and skills learned in prior and concurrent coursework and builds on information and experience gained in OTA 204. Students are expected to participate in all aspects of the occupational therapy process. Students are in a clinical setting for eight hours per day, four days per week. One hour of classroom-based lab is provided per week, allowing students to consolidate and apply service management principles. R, W2, M2 (13 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: OTA 204 with a grade of "pass"

Corequisite: OTA 203
