PHI 205 Ethics: Morality and Contemporary Values 3 credits
This course is an introductory historical survey of the great ethical systems which form the basis of Western moral philosophy. Students critically examine selected writings covering the period from ancient Greece to the present. Emphasis is placed on the relevance these systems hold for contemporary moral problems.
