THE 101 Introduction to Theatre 3 credits
This course attempts to correlate the study of the theatre with the philosophy, literature and arts which developed during various periods of Western civilization. Major areas of investigation include types of plays, methods of production, design and use of physical theatres, theatrical styles, contributions of creative personnel and the significance of the audience to the theatrical event.
