Developmental Courses, Continuing Education, Vocational Studies, Audit Courses

Developmental courses, with the exception of MAT 081 and 082, are counted when determining a student's enrollment status and credit hours completed. For financial aid satisfactory progress purposes, developmental hours will not be counted in the grade point average calculation. Developmental hours will only be reviewed for successful completion. Successful completion for developmental hours is defined as a minimum grade of a C or P. Developmental hours are also not counted toward the 150% maximum period of aid eligibility for students. (See Duration of Financial Aid Eligibility.) Federal regulations only allow a student to receive financial aid for 30 credit hours of developmental course work.

MAT 081 and 082, Vocational Studies (for example, prefixes ABE, ASE, AHH, AIT, BPS, NUR, OIT), Continuing Education Courses, and Audit Courses are not eligible for financial aid and are not counted for financial aid purposes including satisfactory progress.
