In addition to those listed above, students who are pursuing a teaching certificate must complete additional courses in health/physical development, non-western culture, as well as three hours in humanities and six hours in social sciences.

Suggested music ensemble selections (ALL music majors are REQUIRED to perform in at least one college performing organization per semester): MUS 110, MUS 111, MUS 112, MUS 113 and MUS 114.

Applied Music for each semester will include: major instrument or voice and class piano or secondary performing area. Arrangements for lessons in the Applied Music program MUST be made with the Arts and Humanities office PRIOR to registration.
