ARH 201 Commercial Refrigeration I 3 credits

This course offers a study of high and low pressure components and their functions in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Lab experience includes disassembly of commercial refrigeration equipment and analysis of its parts; anlaysis of name plate data; and operation and use of safety devices and pressure stabilization control mechanisms. Commercial refrigeration systems are charged. (2 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)

Prerequisites: ARH 101

Corequisites: ARH 202 or equivalent
