ARH 208 Equipment Selection and Duct Design 4 credits

Students are exposed to techniques and procedures used in the residential construction industry. Proper sizing of HVAC equipment and ducts to meet the requirements necessary to install a typical residential heating and cooling system. Students also determine proper heat load and cooling load calculations using typical manual J methods. (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: ARH 101 and ARH 207
