CPC 127 Job Control Language 3 credits

This course provides an overview of a job control language (JCL) supportive of a mainframe programming language from a functional perspective. Students write JCL assignments, use JCL to compile programs and run utility programs to solve problems relative to the field of general data processing. R (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: CAS 121 and CPC 211
