CTC 150 Introduction to Help Desk and Software Install 3 credits

Introduction to Help Desk and Software Install is the first course for the Help Desk Certificate but not limited to the students pursuing a certificate program. This course provides information to help students understand the concepts of a help desk and different career paths s/he can follow in the Help Desk field. This course also provides the skills necessary to understand how people, processes, technology and information affect a typical help desk. Students are provided the opportunity to learn how to configure some of the popular software packages used in business and industry today. R (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
