ECE 122 Growth and Development in the Early Childhood Years 3 credits

This is a foundation course that presents the theory and principles of child development, conception through age eight, as well as an examination of theory (Piaget, Erikson, Vygotsky, Skinner and others), an in-depth study of physical, social/emotional, cognitive, linguistic and aesthetic development and the exploration of child development in the context of gender, family culture and society.
