EDU 201 Introduction to Teacher Education 4 credits
This course provides an introduction to teaching as a profession in the American education system. It offers a variety of perspectives on education including historical, philosophical, social, legal and ethical issues in a diverse society. Also included are organizational structure and school governance. The course includes 30 hours of clinical field experience. R, W1 (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
