ELT 220 Fundamentals of Microcomputers 4 credits
The concepts of digital logic are expanded to include complete microcomputer systems. The subjects of interfacing and programming microprocessor-based systems are stressed. The lab provides students with experience in actual hardware operation and the programming of microcomputers. Also included are various interface circuits, high-level programming languages, analog to digital converter and other special circuits. (3 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)
Prerequisite: ELT 115 or equivalent
