Lincoln Land Community College, through a cooperative agreement with St. John's Hospital in Springfield, offers an Associate in General Education Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT). ENDT is the scientific field devoted to the recording and study of electrical activity of the brain and nervous system. END technologists record electrical activity arising from the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, somatosensory or motor nerve system. They provide care and comfort to the patient while performing numerous diagnostic procedures, including the electroencephalogram, the polysomnogram, evoked potential studies and nerve conduction studies. Career opportunities are abundant nationwide.
