FNA 101 Exploring the Fine Arts 3 credits

Exploring the Fine Arts is an introduction to the fine arts disciplines; specifically, music, art, architecture, dance and theatre. Major achievements and significant art works that have shaped Western culture are presented. This course is an overview of the ways in which the fine arts interact and how they represent central ideas of specific times and places. This course is available to all students with an interest in fine arts, and may serve as a starting point for further in-depth study of these individual art forms. R, W1 (3 lecture hours) IAI: F9 900
