FRE 201 Intermediate French I 4 credits
Students entering this course have a mastery of basic listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Review and continued development in a balanced approach to each of these is the object of the class program. Oral comprehension and expression stressed in class work is supported and supplemented by the language lab program. Review and continued development of reading and writing skills are major objectives. The language lab aids and supplements the class program and provides information on the French cultural environment. Only French is spoken in class. R (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
