RCP 230 Advanced Respiratory Care Practices and Procedures III 4 credits

This course covers theories and techniques of advanced skills and resuscitation for respiratory care practitioners to include Cardiac Life Support training. It covers the study of various disease states to include anatomic alterations, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, forms of treatment and therapy. Also covered are the basic study of physiological, psychological, behavioral and cognitive aspects of aging and the integration of pathology, pathophysiology, diagnostic techniques and therapeutic modalities through the use of patient case studies. R, W1 (4 lecture hours)
