SPA 207 Conversational Spanish 3 credits
This course is intended to improve command of the language by emphasizing conversational skills. Emphasis is placed on building speaking and listening skills by means of vocabulary — building exercises, learning idiomatic expressions, and discussions. Students learn proper pronunciation and intonation and converse in one-on-one group situations in a variety of cultural, social and political topics. R (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
Prerequisite: One year of college elementary Spanish or permission of instructor
