GER 202 Intermediate German II 4 credits

This fourth course in the German language sequence is a continued review of grammar and vocabulary with further development in both areas. Reading, writing, comprehension, and oral practice continue to be stressed through selected reading, other media, class discussions, essays, and translations. Pronunciation and intonation are stressed with a goal of near native to native accuracy. Emphasis is on strong conversation and composition skills utilizing students' appreciation of German culture, traditions, present day movements and history. R (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
