CHI 201 Intermediate Chinese I 4 credits
This is the third course of the four-course sequence of the Chinese course series. In addition to the strong emphasis on oral communication, the course acquaints students with the culture and contemporary life in the countries where Chinese is spoken. Correct pronunciation is necessary for comprehension and is stressed. (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
Prerequisite: CHI 102 with a minimum grade of C
