Program Information:
- Appropriate for prospective teachers in secondary schools.
- Students who intend to teach high school should be aware that secondary education usually requires a major in a subject matter discipline (for example: English, music, history, etc.)
- Students planning to transfer are recommended to verify senior-institution requirements, which vary.
- Education students who are pursing full state certification as a secondary teacher must earn a minimum grade of C in all professional education and content-area coursework (including general education and elective courses.
