ANT 105 Non-Western Cultures 3 credits

This cultural anthropology course explains some of the many behaviors/lifestyles of the widely varying cultures and societies of the world. Topics may include: how people get the resources needed to stay alive; the different roles of males and females and the expectations that these roles bring to male/female interaction; consequences of Western expansion/colonialism for indigenous populations; or comparable areas of ethnographic inquiry.
