EDL 130 Electrical Lineman Climbing Training 3.5 credits
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to climb utility poles. Skills they will perform are various maneuvers such as free climbing, belted climbing, walking around the pole, adjusting the safety strap and leaning out. Installation of single and double eight feet and 10 feet crossarms and other pole hardware are taught. 12 (1.5 lecture hours and 4 laboratory hours)
Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires a course fee of $871 per credit hour.
