ELT 206 Advanced Communications and Electronic Instrumentation 4 credits

This semester course consists of two parts. Part 1 covers the fundamentals and application of electronic test equipment. Devices such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, digital instruments, signal analyzers and electronic voltmeters are covered. The second part deals with control instrumentation and the introduction of signals to create a control system. The lab provides experiences in the use of electronic test equipment. A function generator is built, tested and Op amp calculated. 12 (3 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)
