MAT 113 College Algebra 4 credits
This course centers on the exploration of various algebraic functions, including polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions. The properties, graphs, and inequalities of these functions are analyzed and applications of their use is studied. Other topics include systems of equations, matrices, conic sections, sequences and series. 11 (4 lecture hours)
Prerequisite: MAT 096 with a minimum grade of C or appropriate placement score AND one year of high school geometry or MAT 093 with a minimum grade of C
