OTA 203 Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory III 4 credits

This course covers the principles and practices of

 occupational therapy 

in acute care, out-patient and community-based settings. Students will become knowledgaeble about the pathophysiology, etiology, clinical signs, assessment and therapeutic management of pediatric conditions, emphasizing a client-centered and occupation-based approach. R, W2, M2, 12 (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: OTA 210 with a minimum grade of C

Corequisite: OTA 204 and OTA 205

Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional tuition rate of $72 per credit hour.
