PCN 102 Practical Nursing II 8 credits

This course continues to utilize the nursing process to care for patients with common health problems throughout the lifespan. The concepts of quality, safety, patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and technology are further developed. Theory, laboratory and clinical practice are correlated to prepare the student to provide safe, quality nursing care R, W2, M1, 12 (3 lecture hours and 10 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: PCN 101 with a minimum grade of C

Corequisite: PSY 101 and BIO 176
