SGT 204 Surgical Procedures III 4 credits

This course is the final course in Surgical Procedures. Surgical anatomy along with instrumentation and procedural steps is discussed. Topics include neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, plastic surgery and ophthalmic surgery. Students continue to function as part of the surgical team in the operating room setting while developing the necessary skills and proficiency to function in simple to complex surgical procedures. 12 (4 lecture hours)
