GEG 104 Human Geography 3 credits
Human Geography focuses on the uneven distribution of people and of human activity on the surface of the earth. It focuses on the causes and consequences of these uneven spatial patterns and cultural landscapes. It introduces students to the systematic study of patterns and processes that have shaped human understanding, use and alteration of Earth's surface. Students employ spacial concepts and landscape analysis to examine human social organization and its environmental consequences.
