MCS 140 HIM for Electronic Health Records 3 credits
This course presents an electronic health records system used by the medical profession. This system is utilized for all documentation from financial information sheets to lab results. Students learn to use, manage and update the system in order to input documentation and complete chart auditing through electronic health records. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
Prerequisite: MCS 110 with a minimum grade of C
