ARH 201 High Pressure Refrigeration Mechanisms 3 credits

This course offers a study of high pressure components and their functions in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Lab experience includes disassembly and analysis of internal components of compressors; analysis of name plate data and various drive mechanisms; operation and use of safety devices and pressure stabilization control mechanisms. (2 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)

Corequisites: ARH 202 or equivalent
