ARH 202 Low Pressure Refrigeration Mechanisms 3 credits

This course is a study of low pressure components and their functions in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Lab experience provides "hands-on" disassembly and reassembly of various metering devices. Charts are used to analyze low pressure components. Students perform charging, discharging, evacuation and dehydration of the total air conditioning/refrigeration systems. (2 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours)

Corequisite: ARH 201 or permission of instructor
