CAD 222 Mechanical Drafting/Design II 3 credits
This course is designed to provide training on specialized mechanical software used in conjunction with AutoCAD or related software for the production of two- and three-dimensional mechanical drawings. This provides an introduction to parametric and feature based design in creating part and assembly models. Topics covered include sketching and constraints, creating and combining features, creating and using assemblies and sub-assemblies, creating drawing views and planning and management of assembly models. (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
Prerequisite: CAD 151 and CAD 221
