CAS 150 Database Applications (MS Access) 3 credits

Database Applications (MS Access) builds on what was learned about database management basics in CAS 121 or CAS 107. Students participate in an open learning environment, whereby work is submitted electronically by the timelines established during the semester. CAS 150 provides instruction in the development and production of relational databases, including: tables, forms, reports, queries, macros and pivot tables and pivot charts. Students also export Access data to other applications, work with the administration tools in access and use VBA. R (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: CAS 107 or CAS 121 or equivalent
