ELT 250 PC Troubleshooting and Repair 2 credits
This is an advanced ELT course to provide students with the knowledge and tools necessary to repair PC type computers. All subsystems of the PC are covered and readily available software is used to simplify locating the problem areas. The laboratory experiments provide students with the familiarity required to locate and repair defective computer components. Simple computer test equipment is used to simplify the repair. (1.5 lecture hours and 1.5 laboratory hours)
Prerequisite: ELT 115
Note: ELT 220 and ELT 222 recommended
