RDG 099 Reading/Study Techniques (2-4 credits)
The purpose of this course is to provide professional assistance to students wanting to improve their reading rate and comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation and study skills. This course is graded on a pass-fail basis and is not included in determining academic grade point average.
All students (transfer, occupational and general studies) can benefit from completing RDG 099. However, course credit is not transferable and does not apply toward satisfying the requirements for degrees and certificates at the college. (4 lecture hours)
Prerequisite: RDG 098 or appropriate score on placement test
