NUR 283 ADN Transition for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 5 credits

This course is designed to transition LPNs into the second year of the ADN program. It provides concepts taught in ADN 101 and ADN 102. NUR 283 focuses upon the LLCC ADN philosophy and the nursing process. Under supervision in the nursing practice lab and hospital, students are provided with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and their abilities to perform skills. This course is four weeks in length. (4.5 lecture hours and 1 laboratory hour)

Prerequisite: Admission to the program, BIO 220, BIO 176 and PSY 220
