SGT 108 Pharmacology for the Surgical Technologist 2 credits

TThis course introduces students to the field of pharmacology as it pertains to surgical technology. Basic concepts pertaining to medication regulation, preparation for administration as well as the care and handling of medications are introduced. In addition, anesthesia administration, medications and complications are discussed. 12 (2 lecture hour)

Prerequisite: SGT 101 with a minimum grade of C, BIO 175 with a minimum grade of C, HLT 109 with a minimum grade of C
